So both the JBL Bar 500 and JBL bar 700 are good soundbars from JBL that give you a lot of bang for your buck… and they are good options if you’re looking for a home theater set up for your medium or large living room. However, these two systems are very different from one another. So today we’re going to compare the Bar 500 to the Bar 700 and lets see which ones right for you.
So both the JBL BAR 300 and JBL BAR 500 are great soundbars from JBL that give you a very big bang for your buck. But if you’re trying too choose between getting the Bar 300 or Bar 500… then today we’re going to break down the main differences between these two systems and see which one is right for you.
So this is the JBL Bar 700, its basically a supped up version of the JBL Bar 500 which also comes included with an external subwoofer… but what makes the 700 very interesting is that it has detachable and rechargeable satellite speakers. Overall, JBL’s soundbars give you a very big bang for your buck… so lets see what JBL’s surround sound system in a box is all about.
So for the last months, the Bose Smart Soundbar has been my go to soundbar and its been my favorite soundbar to recommend. But today we’re going to see how both the JBL Bar 300 and Sony S2000, two relatively new soundbars for 2023, compare to the Bose Smart Soundbar 600. Overall, all three of these soundbars are very different from one another, so lets see which one is right for you.
So Sony’s sound bars have always been a good option for someone that wants a self contained sound bar but also has a ton of bass to it. But Sony’s Sound Bars were always very big and their app was lack luster. But now there’s the Sony HT-S2000, and I feel that this is the start of Sony’s new generation of sound bars that are sleeker and they have a much better app now.
So JBL’s sound bar’s have always been good and they always brought with them a lot of extra features… but I always felt that they were a little clunky especially their software and audio normalization. But now we have the JBL Bar 500, and overall this is a good sound bar, but more importantly, the software is a lot more refined. You can think of the Bar 500 as a suped up version of the Bar 300.

So personally, i really like the new Bose Smart Soundbar 600… and this is currently my favorite mid range soundbar to recommend. Now we’ve already seen how the 600 stacks up against its larger brother, the 900… but today we’re going to see how the 600 stacks up to some of its direct competitors like lets say the Sonos Beam 2 and the Sony HT-A3000.
