So now that the AirPods Max are here there’s definitely a lot of hype around them. And I will admit the AirPods max do deliver when it comes to sound and active noise cancelation. But today we’re going to be comparing these headphones to both the Bose QC 35’s and the Bose NC 700’s. This video is either for the people who currently have the Bose QC35’s and are thinking about upgrading to something else… And its also for the people who have the Bose NC 700’s who’ll might be thinking about switching over to the AirPods Max.

Typically if you’re in the market for a pair of premium ANC headphones people usually end up asking if they should go with Bose or Sony. Now you really can’t go wrong with either the Bose NC 700 or the new Sony 1000XM4’s… but there are some very important differences between them to take into consideration. There’s a lot of hype and excitement around the new Bose NC 700’s but the Bose QC35 series 2 aren’t going anywhere. Actually the Bose QC35’s got a secret hardware refresh last fall so that they can support Bose AR just like the NC 700’s. Now personally I think Bose AR is still very much in its infancy as of summer 2019 and it's one of those features you play around with for 20 minutes and then forget about. But if you’re thinking about picking up a pair of Bose Headphones you maybe very well trying to decided picking between the alien looking NC 700’s or the tried and tested QC35’s. And like I said in the initial review, the surface headphones were a really good first try on Microsoft’s part. Even though there are a lot of great premium ANC headphones on the market right now, and there’s even whole bunch more on the way… the most common question I get in my comments is WHEN ARE THE BOSE QC45’s COMING OUT?!?! Last year when we pitted the Sony 1000XM2 up against the Bose QC 35 Series two, the Sony’s won cause they had the better performing technology. But bose still walked away with a close second cause they had far better build quality, far better fit, and they looked much better than the Sony’s. And it looks like Sony took that to heart cause now we have the all new Sony WH-1000XM3. So… are the Sony 1000XM3 finally the complete package… or do the Bose QC 35 Series 2 still have some fight left in them?
