So right now as of the second half of 2020 Sony has a mostly refreshed lineup of ANC headphones. The newest headphones to be released here are the Sony 1000XM4’s, but the Sony WH-CH710N’s and the Sony WH-H910N’s aka the H.ear On 3’s were released a few months ago. But then we also have the Sony XB900N’s which are a little over a year old now but these are still one of my favorite mid tier ANC headphones to recommend. But nonetheless today we’re going to break down Sony’s current headphone lineup and see which one is right for you.
Sony H.ear On 3 Vs Sony XB900N
So for awhile now the Sony XB900N’s have been one of my most recommended pair of mid range ANC headphones. They have good build quality, they fit well, they have decent active noise cancelation, their ambient mode is good, they sound good and they also have a lot of head rattling bass if you want it. But then there are the Sony H.ear On 3’s which are also a good pair of headphones and they’re slotted above the XB900N’s… but which one of these should you actually get?
Sony H.ear On 3 Review - Compared To Sony 1000XM3
So for awhile now sony has been dominating the Premium ANC headphones market with their Sony 1000XM3’s and they’ve been dominating the Mid range ANC headphones market with their XB900N’s. But then there are the Sony WH-H910N or also known as the H.ear On 3’s which sit in the middle between these other two headphones. And even though the H.ear On 3’s do have their pro’s… im not really sure why they exists.
