So these are the new Sony Linkbuds Open. Now these are a pair of niche earbuds, they’re open earbuds so you’re always going to be able to hear your surroundings like the Bose Open Ultra or the Soundcore Aerofit 2 that we recently checked out… but Sony’s approach is very different, they look and fit like earbuds, but they have an open driver. The new Linkbuds Open also have big upgrades like better battery life, a better case and a better fit. So these are the Sony LinkBuds Fit, and I think that these are giving us a big preview of whats to come for the future of Sony’s earbuds. The Linkbuds Fit are perhaps the most comfortable earbuds Sony has made to date, and they have a whole lot of new features which I really hope we will see in upcoming Sony earbuds. Sony Mid 2022 Earbuds Lineup Explained
So right now the Sony linkbuds S are currently my favorite earbuds that sony has ever put out. And personally, I am really hoping that we will see a Linkbuds Pro… cause sony is finally on the right track with these. But for right now, if you’re trying to choose between any on Sony’s earbuds as of mid 2022, today we’re going to compare the Linkbuds S to the entry level WF-C500’s, the open back Linkbuds, and the Sony WF-1000XM4’s.

So the Sony link buds are a pair of very niche earbuds from sony. Now on one hand, I love that sony is experiment with non in ear earbuds cause I think earbuds like Airpods, Airpods 3, Galaxy Buds Live and Surface Earbuds all have their place… However, there are some major quirks to point out about the Linkbuds.
