So this is the Beats Pill, now I really appreciate the great build quality of this speaker, I love that you can use its USB C port to charge your own devices and it has a long battery life. However, for me it is hard to justify this speaker due to its price to performance ratio. So today we’re going to see how the Beats Pill stacks up to the JBL Flip 6 which is a small speaker that I have loved recommending for the past 2 years and the Sony ULT Field 1 which is currently my favorite small speaker for summer 2024.
Sony ULT Field 1 vs JBL Flip 6 & JBL Charge 5 - Sony Is Doing It Better?!
So for the last few years, both the JBL Flip 6 and JBL Charge 5 have been my favorite speakers to recommend cause thanks to their woofer and tweeter setup, these speaker sound very good. Plus they’re portable and durable. But now, Sony has copied the woofer and tweeter set up that found in both of these JBL speakers and the ULT Field 1 actually sounds better than the Flip 6 and the ULT field 1 really gives the JBL Charge 5 a real run for it money. So today, lets see if JBL should be worried about the new Sony ULT Field 1.
Sony ULT Field 1 - Sony’s Biggest Speaker Upgrade Yet
So Sony has been on a roll lately improving and refining all of their speakers… But perhaps the biggest improvements and refinements that Sony has done lately can be found on their new portable Sony ULT Field 1 which is the successor to the Sony XE200 and Sony XE300. And im going to be straight up, I think both the XE200 and XE300 were bad, like really bad. But this ULT field 1, this speaker is actually very good. So today we’re going to checkout the ULT Field 1 and we’re going to see how it compares to the XE200 and XE300.
