The Shure Aonic 50 are Shure’s first pair of ANC over ear headphones. Now even though these headphones have a solid foundation to them… like I said in their full review these headphones are a hard pass for me cause performance wise these headphones have a lot of room for improvement. And when you’re charging $400 for your headphones… you really gotta bring your A game cause the premium ANC headphone market is very competitive. Especially when you’ve got to compete with well established and very popular players like the Sony 1000XM3’s and Bose NC 700’s.
Shure Aonic 50 Review
The new Shure Aonic 50’s are Shure’s first pair of ANC headphones… And even though the Shure Aonic 50’s definitely try to tick off all the right boxes from what you would expect from a pair of Premium ANC headphones in 2020… these headphones have a lot of room for improvement. And for me I gotta say these headphones are a hard pass.
Razer Opus Vs Sony WH-XB900N Vs Surface Headphones 2
So like I've said many times already, the Razer Opus are a pair of very well built $200 headphones that definitely try to punch about their weight class. And I feel its actually easier to compare these headphones to mid their ANC headphones like the Sony XB900N and surface Headphones 2… rather than comparing them to other $200 headphones. So lets see how the Razer Opus stack up to these two mid tier ANC headphones.
Razer Opus Vs Sony WH-CH710N Vs Sennheiser HD 450BT
The Razer Opus are a pair of very well built $200 ANC headphones that really give the Sony WH-CH710N and Sennheiser HD 450BT a real run for for their money. But when it comes to their performance… there are some real key differences to keep in mind if you’re looking into getting any of these Entry Level Headphones. So lets see which ones right for you.
Razer Opus Review - Near Sony WH-1000XM3 ANC For $200
The new Razer opus are a pair of very well built $200 ANC headphones that definitely try to punch way above its weight class. And its obvious that Razer modeled their new Opus from the none other Sony 1000XM3’s. Now even though these headphones have amazing build quality and fit great, there are definitely somethings you need to know about them before you decide to pick them up.
Sony XB900N Vs Surface Headphones 2 Vs JBL Club 950NC
So first the premium ANC headphone market, which are headphones that retail for around $350 got really competitive. But now, I feel that the mid tier ANC headphone market is about to get very competitive as well cause Microsoft slashed the price of their new Surface headphones 2 and JBL recently released their new Club950NC’s. But then there are also the Sony XB900N’s which are a year old now, but they’re still a great pair of mid tier ANC headphones.
JBL Club 950NC Review
So these are the new JBL Club 950NC’s… they’re JBL’s new mid tier ANC headphones from their new Club series line up. Now even though these headphones are packed with features and they even have a bass boost mode for you bass heads… unfortunately I feel these headphones fall really short when it comes to fit and comfort. And I really feel that thats a real shame cause everything else about them is pretty good.
Sony H.ear On 3 Vs Sony XB900N
So for awhile now the Sony XB900N’s have been one of my most recommended pair of mid range ANC headphones. They have good build quality, they fit well, they have decent active noise cancelation, their ambient mode is good, they sound good and they also have a lot of head rattling bass if you want it. But then there are the Sony H.ear On 3’s which are also a good pair of headphones and they’re slotted above the XB900N’s… but which one of these should you actually get?
