I know I’ve said this before, but I really like the Audio-Technica ATH-SR50BT’s. I think they don’t get nearly as much love as they deserve and if it weren’t for their crapy touch pads I think they’d be the best $200 headphones on the market right now. So out of sheer curiosity I thought I should also check out the SR50BT’s little brothers, the ATH-SR30BT’s. And over all, I think Audio-Technica has another winner right here.
After a lot of anticipation and rumors… the AirPods 2 are finally here. And if you’re an iPhone user looking for truly wireless earbuds, then the AirPods 2 are still the best ones you can get period. But even though the new AirPods 2 bring new features like wireless charging if you decide to get the $200 version and always listening Siri, I think Apple could of and should have done more given that other truly wireless earbuds are starting to catch up and surpass the AirPods 2.
Theres a lot of hype around the new Galaxy buds… and its with good reason. They’re a really good pair of truly wireless earbuds that perform very well, they fit well, and both the buds themselves and carrying case are pretty small. But most importantly, they only cost $130. But the $80 sound core Liberty Air have also gotten a fair amount of hype. So could these really be a viable alternative for both the Galaxy Buds and AirPods?
If you’re an iPhone user looking for a great pair of truly wireless earbuds the obvious answer is AirPods… But the same hasn’t been true for android users until now. Even though the market is flooded with truly wireless earbuds who’s prices range from $50 dollars to $1,000 dollars, have different features and styles… not many have been able to hit the same dollar to performance ratio found on the AirPods. But I think thats finally changed with Samsung’s new Galaxy Buds.
Back at CES 2019 Sony announced their upcoming Sony XB22 and XB32 portable bluetooth speakers… And I also expect a Sony XB42 is also on the way. Cause over the last few days Sony has been updating their companion apps for their Headphones and Speakers to support unspecified newer models. But now Sony Asia has officially announced their upcoming WH-XB700’s. Now I’m going to tell you what the WH-XB700’s are all about and also what it could mean for upcoming yet to be announced products.

So when Audio-Technica announced their new ATH-ANC900BT Quietpoint headphones at CES 2019, admittedly I was pretty excited. But after getting my hands on them… its just pretty hard to recommend these headphones in today’s super competitive Premium ANC Headphone market.
Im going to start off this video by saying that I was pleasantly surprised and impressed by Audio-Technica’s $200 ATH-SR50BT headphones… and if it weren’t for their crappy touchpad they’d be the best $200 ANC headphones on the market right now. But sadly, the same cant be said about Audio-Technica’s new truly wireless earbuds, the ATH-CKR7TW’s… I just don’t think they hold up to the rest of the competition.
Even though there are a lot of great premium ANC headphones on the market right now, and there’s even whole bunch more on the way… the most common question I get in my comments is WHEN ARE THE BOSE QC45’s COMING OUT?!?! Now I don’t know if the Bose QC45’s will be coming out next week, next month, or next year… But I thought I would make a wish list of what I would like to see from the Bose QC45’s… And showcase how the aging Bose QC35’s stack up against some of 2019’s top ANC headphones.
