So the new Sonos Era 300 is a very impressive dolby atmos smart speaker with a very interesting speaker set up. But the Era 300 is pretty big and it is a little pricey. But today, lets see how the Sonos Era 300 stacks up to other very popular and great sounding smart speakers like the Apple HomePod Gen 2 and the Bose Smart Speaker 500.
So the Sonos Era 100 was announced along side the larger Sonos Era 300 which has dolby atmos support. Now the Era 100 doesn’t have dolby atmos support, but its still a great sounding speaker. Nonetheless lets see how the Sonos Era 100 stacks up to the HomePod Gen 2 and the Bose Portable smart speaker.
So the first apple HomePod was a cult hit cause it genuinely sounded very good. Now for a few years apple did update their HomePod and for awhile they were very hard to get. But now we have the HomePod gen 2, which actually removed the amount of tweeters on it. Now before we can see how the HomePod Gen 2 stacks up to lets say that Sonos Era 300… lets see what the HomePod Gen 2 is all about.
So this is the Sonos Era 100, it was announced along side the larger Sonos Era 300 which has Dolby Atmos Support. Now the 100 doesn’t have Dolby Atmos Support cause it doesn’t have any upwards firing speakers. But nonetheless, this is a great sounding speaker. But just like with most Sonos products, there are some important things that you should know, nonetheless, lets see what the Sonos Era 100 is all about.
So this is the Marshall Middleton, it a 360 degree speaker and I like to refer to it as a large medium sized speaker. Its sounds good, its super durable and its super portable, but it is premiumly priced. So today we’re going to see how the Marshall Middleton stacks up to two options that I feel that you can’t go wrong with, the JBL Charge 5 and the JBL Xtreme 3.
So this is the Marshall Middleton, And I kind of feel that its a bit of a strange speaker. Its larger than most medium portable speakers but its smaller than most Large portable speakers. So that’s why I refer to is as a large medium sized speaker. It also has an an interesting speaker up which gives this speaker 360 degree sound. Overall, im not saying that the Marshall middleton is bad, its simply a very niche speaker. Nonetheless, lets see what the Marshall Middleton is all about.
So this is the JBL Pulse 5, Now the Pulse 5 sounds good, but you are mainly paying for the light feature. However, the light feature on the Pulse 5 is very impressive and its very dynamic. But today we’re going to see how the Pulse 5 stacks up to both the Sony XG300 and the Sony XE300. Cause in case you didn’t know, the XG300 also technically has a light feature.
