The Bose Soundlink Flex Gen 2 is a very portable, very durable, and very premium feeling speaker, and it performs very well. However, this is another example of bose adding some very minor upgrades to their products, and slapping a new name on them. And for 2025, I feel the Bose Flex 2 is a little hard to justify when compared to its direct price competitors… so today we’re going to see how the Bose Flex 2 compares to the JBL Charge 5 which admiditly is pretty old now, but its still a solid mid sized speaker to recommend.

So the JBL Charge 5 has been my favorite mid sized speaker cause it sounds great thanks to its woofer and tweeter set up which is rare for a speaker of this size. But the Charge 5 got an unexpected upgrade… we now have the JBL Charge 5 with wifi… now I thought that this was going to be a simple video, but I actually saw a smaller performance improvement with the JBL Charge 5 with Wifi.

So the Skullcandy Terrain XL is the largest speaker in skullcandy’s line up right now. Now in general skullcandy’s speakers are packed with features and they are very affordable… but they don’t sound amazing. So like I mentioned in the full review the Sony xb100 is a decent and affordable portable Bluetooth speaker that you can use either at home or take it on the go with you but I also mentioned that two Sony xb100s playing together actually sound fairly impressive So today we're going to see how two Sony xb100s playing in Stereo mode stack up to a single JBL Flip 6 and to a single JBL charge 5.

So this is the Soundcore Motion X600, Now personally I feel that this is a fairly impressive speaker, its fairly affordable, its a plus sized medium speaker, I think it looks elegant, but more importantly, I think it sounds good and I think the upwards firing driver does wonders. Nonetheless, today we’re going to see how to motion X600 stacks up to the JBL Charge 5 and the JBL Xtreme 3.

So this is the Marshall Middleton, it a 360 degree speaker and I like to refer to it as a large medium sized speaker. Its sounds good, its super durable and its super portable, but it is premiumly priced. So today we’re going to see how the Marshall Middleton stacks up to two options that I feel that you can’t go wrong with, the JBL Charge 5 and the JBL Xtreme 3.

So with both the Flip 6 and the Charge 5, JBL added an additional tweeter to their smaller portable bluetooth speakers which really does help improve the sound quality of their speakers. Since the woofer handles the mids and the tweeter handles the highs, that means better instrument separation.
