So these are the Bose Ultra Open earbuds, and over the last few months, other manufacturers have also come out with their own open earbuds. Now personally for me, these earbuds are pretty hard to justify, but its cool to see companies experimenting with their products. So lets see what the Bose Ultra open earbuds are all about, and lets see if open earbuds are a good option for you and your super fringe cases, or should you just go with earbuds like the AirPods 4 or in ear earbuds.
So these are the Bose QC earbuds, and as always, Bose’s earbuds are very comfy, they offer great lockdown, they block out a lot of noise and they sound good. But as always, Bose’s earbuds are not the most convenient earbuds out there cause of their large case and poor case to battery life ratio, and they dont have the best sounding microphone out there for phone calls. Nonetheless lets see what the Bose QC earbuds are all about, and we’re going to be comparing them to a lot of other ANC earbuds for late 2024 early 2025.
So these are the AirPods 4 and initially I didn’t think much of them, but these are actually a huge upgrade over previous AirPods, you can get them with active noise cancelation which honestly performs a lot better than I expected, and I think that its safe to say that the AirPods 4 are going to be replacing my AirPods Pro 2. So the Soundcore Select 4 Go is a surprisingly affordable micro speaker that gets immpressily loud for its size, its has great clarity and balance at max volume and it has a very long battery life. Overall, the Select 4 Go is a solid pick up… but today we’re going to see how the Soundcore Select 4 Go compares to both the JBL Clip 5 and the JBL Go 4 which are two other great micro speakers that have recently gotten some big upgrades.
So this is the Soundcore Select 4 Go speaker… its a 5 watt speaker that gets impressively loud for its size, it actually sounds really good at max volume and it has a battery life of up to 20 hours. If you’re looking for something small and portable to take on the go with you, or if you’re looking for something to use while in the shower, the Soundcore Select 4 Go is a solid pick up.
So the Soundcore Space One Pro are a great of pair of mid tier ANC headphones that block out a lot of noise, they have a super long battery life and they have a fun bass heavy sound signature. However, they aren’t as Pro as id expect cause they are missing some fairly common features for Mid tier ANC headphones in 2024. But today we’re going to see how the Soundcore Space One Pro stack up to the Bose QC headphones which are high mid tier ANC headphones and these are also great options for commuters like the Space One Pro cause they are so comfortable.
So the Soundcore Space One Pro offer very impressive active noise cancelation, they have a super long battery life, they’re fairly durable and they have a fun bass heavy sound signature… But the Soundcore Space One Pro aren’t as PRO as id expect them to be. So today we’re going to see how the Pro’s compare to the Soundcore Space One… which actually have some features I wish the Pro’s had.
So the JBL Go 4 is a very impressive micro speaker that does a very impressive job of keeping up with the JBL Clip 5. The Go 4 gets impressively loud for it size, it has a decent battery life for its size and it has aura cast. The Go 4 is a solid compact option… and its so impressive is does a great job of keeping up with both the Sony XB100 and the Bose Soundlink micro.
