So after checking out the new Skullcandy Hesh ANC and the Skullcandy Crusher Evo… I am really excited about the future of Skullcandy. Both the Hesh ANC and Crusher Evo have improved build quality… and the Hesh ANC have very impreissve active noise cancelation and ambient mode for a pair of entry level headphones. Last year they released the Crusher ANC’s which added active noise cancelation and an ambient mode to these headphones and this year they’ve released the Crusher Evo’s which I feel has better build quality than the more premium Crusher ANC’s but at a more affordable price. But if you’re thinking about getting either of these headphones lets see which ones right for you.
The new skullcandy Crusher ANC are just a whole lot of fun. And if you’re considering getting these headphones you’re mainly concerned about their bass cause it truly is insane. But due to their price point and new features… a lot of people want to know how these headphones compare to the Sony 1000XM3 and Bose NC 700. Specifically their active noise cancellation.
If you’re a bass head you have two great options to choose from right now. Theres the Brand new Skullcandy Crusher ANC’s which have better performance and more features than the Skullcandy Crusher 360’s and there’s also the Sony XB900N which are just overall a great pair of Mid Range ANC headphones that also happen to have a lot of bass. You can’t go wrong with either one of these, but depending on your needs one is better than the other.
The new Skullcandy Crusher ANC’s are perhaps the most fun headphones ever… and I think that if you have last year’s Crusher 360’s I do think its worth upgrading. But even though the Crusher ANC’s are more versatile than the Crusher 360’s, they do have their quirks. Quirks that just aren’t acceptable for a pair of $320 ANC headphones.
