So right now, we’re in a bit of a transition with Sony’s box speakers… and in general I am liking these new box speakers from Sony. The new XV900 and XV800 have more balanced sound signatures to them, and I think they look sleeker. And I like that they both have an optical port. But the XP700 still isn’t going anywhere. Nonetheless, today we’re going to compare the XV900, to the XV800 and XP700 and lets see which one is right for you.
LG XBOOM XL7 Vs JBL Partybox 310 Vs Sony XP700
So this is the LG XBOOM XL7, now even though it does have its drawbacks, personally I really like its mellow sound profile and I think the customizable light feature up top is a fun touch. But today we’re going to see how the LG XBOOM XL7 stacks up to its direct competitors, the JBL Partybox 310 and the Sony XP700.
Sony XV900 Vs Sony XP700 Vs Sony XP500
Personally, I really enjoy the new Sony XV900. Its a large portable box speaker that’s a good option for your man cave… and if you want you can always take it out doors and use it around the house, without having to rely on having a wall outlet nearby. However, the XV900 is pretty big… so today we’re going to see how its smaller siblings, the XP700 and XP500 stack up.
JBL Boombox 3 Vs JBL Partybox 310 Vs Sony XP700
So the JBL Boombox 3 is ultra portable, ultra durable, and thanks to its new additional frontward firing subwoofer, the Boombox 3 has considerably more bass than its predecessors. However, the Boombox 3 is a premium priced speaker… Now you could either go with the Boombox 3… or you could go with a larger box speaker like either the JBL Partybox 310 or Sony XP700. So today we’re going to see how the Boombox 3 stacks up to both the Partybox 310 and Sony XP700… and lets see which one is right for you.
Soundboks Go Vs JBL Partybox 310 Vs Sony Xp700
So the Soundboks Go is Soundbok’s more portable but still ultra rugged and super loud bluetooth speaker that does a good job of keeping up with its larger brother… the Soundboks 3. Now like I said in the full review, I think the Soundboks Go is a very niche speaker and I also feel that it is going to get cross referenced with a lot of other speakers out there. But today we’re going to compare the Soundboks Go to both the JBL Partybox 310 and Sony XP700. Price wise… these are some very close competitors.
