Even though there are a lot of great premium ANC headphones on the market right now, and there’s even whole bunch more on the way… the most common question I get in my comments is WHEN ARE THE BOSE QC45’s COMING OUT?!?! Now I don’t know if the Bose QC45’s will be coming out next week, next month, or next year… But I thought I would make a wish list of what I would like to see from the Bose QC45’s… And showcase how the aging Bose QC35’s stack up against some of 2019’s top ANC headphones.
My Top 3 Favorite $200 ANC Headphones As Of Q1 2019
I know dropping $350 on a pair of ANC headphones is a lot for some people. So today we’re going to compare my current top 3 favorite sub $200 ANC headphones as of Q1 2019. We have the Sony WH-CH700N, the Sennheiser 4.50 BTNC, and the Audio-Technica ATH-SR50BT or as I call them, the Sir 50’s. Now I like and have no problem recommending either of these headphones but they all have their own pros and cons. But I think this video is going to be pretty interesting cause instead of me crapping on one specific pair of headphones, we’re going to be comparing 3 pairs of headphones that I genuinely like for different reasons.
Audio-Technica ATH-SR50BT Review - Awesome $200 Headphones, But Not Perfect
As the premium ANC headphone market heats up, cheaper ANC headphones are getting better and better cause of the trickle down effect. And a good example of this are the new Audio-Technica ATH-SR50BT’s. I think these are a pair of very well rounded headphones that perform great and have some very welcomed features. And if it wasn’t for their touch pad, I think these headphones would be perfect.
Audio-Technica ATH-M50xBT Review - Great On The Go Headphones For Content Creators
The Audio-Technica ATH-M50x have the been the go to headphones for both normal consumers and professionals just looking for well built, and good sounding headphones. But now we have the Audio-Technica ATH-M50xBT… they have the same styling as before but now they’re wireless, they have a touch pad, and they have on board media controls. And these headphones are so good that they’ve joined the Sony WH-CH700N in my most recommended $200 headphones club. But I like these for a whole other set of reasons and would recommend them to a very different type of person than I would recommend these to.
AKG N700NC ANC Headphone Review
When Samsung first announced their new Galaxy Note 9 they had a promo where if you pre ordered their new phone they would throw in a free pair of AKG N60 NC On ear headphones, a $300 value… or you could get 15,000 V-Bucks. And for those who don’t know, AKG is to Samsung like Beats is to Apple. But now we have the AKG N700NC’s, a pair of Over Ear ANC headphones that competes directly against the Beats Studio 3, Bose QC35’s and Sony 1000XM3. But after getting to use the new AKG N700NC’s I would honestly prefer to take the V-Bucks, over these ANC headphones.
Microsoft Surface Headphones Reviewed And Compared To Sony 1000XM3 - A Really Good First Try
Unlike most other tech companies lately, Microsoft did a pretty good job of keeping leaks to a minimum for their October surface event, cause I was genuinely surprised when Microsoft announced their new Surface Headphones. And even though it was a very good first try, the Surface Headphones still have a lot of growing up to do in this increasingly competitive ANC Headphone market.
Skullcandy Crusher 360 Vs Sony XB950N1
There are a lot of different type of headphones… theres closed back headphones, open back headphones, audiophile grade headphones, and active noise canceling headphones. But theres a special type of headphones for a special type of person that absolute loves bass. And thats bass head headphones. And today we’re comparing the Skullcandy Crusher 360’s against the ever so popular Sony MDR-XB950N1, which arguably has been the best Basshead headphones on the market for awhile now.
Skullcandy Crusher 360 Review - Sensory Overload
I dont know what happened with the Skullcandy Venue, personally I feel that for $180 ANC headphones they under deliver cause their build quality isn’t the best, their ANC isn’t good, and their bass bottoms out way too much. But when it comes to the new Skullcandy Crusher 360’s… thats a whole other story. These things are sensory overload, and I love it. They’re definitely not for everybody, and I would have done a few things differently… but over all these are just a lot of fun.
