The Sony XG500 is Sony’s direct response to the super popular JBL Boombox 2 and my personal favorite sounding and most used speaker the UE Hyperboom. And if you’re looking for a larger portable bluetooth speaker to take on the go with you from time to time then all three of these speakers are great options to consider. However, I feel all three of these speakers have their own stand out characteristics that depending on your needs will better suit you.

But its perfectly clear that Sony isn’t playing around here… they went in and added more bass, more ports and they even threw in a light feature for good measure. Overall the XG500 is pretty impressive… so lets check it out
So the Sonos Roam is here just in time for summer 2021… but like I mentioned in the full review with the Sonos roam you’re paying a premium cause of its smarts and not so much for its sound. Now like I said in the full review if you’re looking for a Bluetooth speaker and you’ve got a budget between $150 and $200 then I highly recommend that you just get the JBL Charge 5. With the Charge 5 you’re going to get much better sound and a much better battery life. But if you’re specifically looking for a small speaker like the Roam… then today we’re going to directly compere it to both the JBL Flip 5 and Sony XB23.
So this is the Sonos Roam, its Sonos’s latest ultra portable bluetooth speaker that’s either meant to be used at home or you can just throw it into your back pack and take it on the go with you to either to the beach or on a camping trip. Now even though the Roam is packed with a whole lot of smarts… for me its very hard to justify getting this thing and I can’t help but feel that its just been over hyped.
So now that the JBL Charge 5 is here Partyboost is finally complete. So today we’re going to break down JBL’s Partyboost speaker line up to see which one is right for you. We’ve got the JBL Clip 4, the Flip 5, the Charge 5, the Pulse 4, the Xtreme 3 and the JBL Boombox 2. Even though these are all just speakers depending on your needs you’ll be better off with one over the others. Besides sound… there’s also battery life, ports, portability, and extra little features to take into consideration.
Both the new JBL Charge 5 and Sony XB33 are rocking all new speaker set ups from their predecessors. Specifically the Charge 5 is rocking a new tweeter over the Charge 4 where as the XB33’s speaker set up is drastically different from its predecessors cause it has new triangular drivers and passive radiators that shoot out its sides. Now both of these speakers sound good but if you’re looking into getting a mid sized speaker lets see which’s ones right for you cause the Charge 5 and XB33 do have some crucial differences.
At first glance the new JBL Charge 5 just looks like another redesign with an over done gaudy logo on the front… but there are actually some very major changes here under the hood. Some that are great and others that aren’t as good. So today we’re going to check out the JBL Charge 5 and we’re also going to compare it to the JBL Charge 4 and JBL Charge 3.
So I know this video is a little late, but after checking out the Partybox 100 I thought hey we gotta see how this thing stacks up against the Boombox 2. Now I say that this video is a little late cause personally I think the Partybox 110 is right around the corner. But if the partybox 110 does come out soon, that could mean that we could see even steeper discounts on the Partybox 100. So if you’re looking for a bargain in 2021 than you’ll might want to go with the Partybox 100… or if you’re looking for something more rugged and more portable then you’ll might want to go with the Boombox 2.
