Shark Detect Pro Review And How To Use

so this is the shark detect Pro vacuum and today we're going to give you a rundown of this vacuum now first off the detect Pro is a cordless vacuum and it does have a built-in battery now this built-in battery depending on which model you get it is removable now in order to remove this battery all you have to do is you just push on this button here big button and it just slides right out now this is good for two reasons number one if you want to have multiple batteries then that is a good option so that you can keep the battery going or more importantly if the health of your battery deteriorates after a few years of use instead of having to get a completely new vacuum you can always just replace the battery and your vacuum is going to be good as you now the detect pro has an advertised battery life of 40 minutes however that advertised battery life is with this vacuum running on auto however if you were to use this vacuum while set on eco then that is going to extend your battery or if you were to use this vacuum while in boost mode then that is going to drain your battery life faster now I am going to give you a quick demonstration of how this V vacuum works because there are some indicator lights on it that you do want to understand okay so right now as you can see we have a lot of dirt and just Dust Bunny spread out here on the carpet and I'm going to go ahead and give you a rundown of the indicator lights on this vacuum and also the different modes now first off in order to power this vacuum on all you got to do is press and hold on the power on button and once the vacuum is on it stays on you don't have to constantly hold down a trigger like you do with some of Dyson's older vacuums now right now this vacuum is set on auto however if you were to press this fan here that is going to move us over into Eco and what Eco does that is going to help extend the life of your battery however it is going to sacrifice on suction or if we were to press on the fan again that is going to move us over into boost and boost is the mode that you want to use if you have a big mess to clean however extended use of the boost mode on this vacuum that is going to drain the battery of this vacuum a lot faster and it is going to deteriorate the overall health of your battery so you basically only want to use boost mode when you have to now we're actually going to go ahead and explain the auto mode on this vacuum so again we're just going to go ahead and turn on the vacuum and this right here tells us that it is in automo and as you can see there are some indicator lights here on the top of the vacuum and there are some secondary indicator lights on the carpet cleaner head itself now basically what blue means it tells us that the area that we're currently on it is clean the vacuum is telling us that it is not detecting any dirt however if we were to move this vacuum a little forward into the Dust Bunny you're going to notice that now our indicator light is red and that is telling us that the vacuum has detected some dirt now once the light here turns into Amber that is basically telling us hey keep the vacuum where it is because the vacuum is currently working on cleaning that area and once you have the blue indicator light back on that is telling us that hey the area is clean and again if we were to move a forward right now this is telling us hey this area here is dirty we are detecting some dirt you should stay there and continue to clean and once it is turned to Blue that's telling us that the area is now clean and again if we were to move forward you're going to see that the indicator light is going to automatically turn red you're also going to hear that the vacuum itself is going to spin up and suck harder and as you can see the light turns Amber telling us that you should stay there because there's still more dirt to clean and once the light light is blue is telling us that the area is now clean and again we're just going to move forward and this is telling us that we have detected some dirt might as well clean this area and again if we were to move forward again it's telling us that we've detected dirt here stay here we're cleaning we're working on it and you want to stay here until the light turns blue like it just did so this is basically telling us that uh when the blue indicator light is there it's telling us that the surface is clean but now here comes the really cool part now as you can see all of the dirt and all of that dust is now collected inside here inside of the bin inside of the vacuum and now we're going to place this vacuum onto its storage um compartment this here now all you got to do is you are just going to slide this in and this does two things number one it is going to suck all of those dirt and put it into the bent inside and it's also going to charge the vacuum up

itself and there you go once you place this vacuum on to the dock every single time that you place this vacuum on the dock the dock is going to automatically clear the bin inside of your vacuum but also this dock is going to charge your vacuum up now all of the dirt and dust it gets transferred from the bin inside of the vacuum into this bin found in the dock itself which there is a handle here and this just comes right up and you can just take this to the garbage and empty it out there is a button here and all you're going to do is you are just going to press and then all of your dirt comes in now one of the cool things about the bin itself is that there are a lot of filters inside the bin as well so if you really want to get in there you are going to have to stick your hands in then and actually dig the uh dirt out but another thing about this bin is that this bin does have a built-in order neutralizer so basically even if you were to collect a lot of dirt and dust on in this bin the order neutralizer uh in it it is going to help keep your apartment smelling fresh and once this has been cleaned out all you got to do is just slides into the dock itself and you are good to go however if you can't make it to the auto dock to clean out the bin in your vacuum you can clean it out yourself by simply pressing on the button here and then that's basically going to open up your bin and that is going to release all of the contents of your bin okay but while we're here I'm going to go ahead and show you how to clean the filters found in this vacuum now in order to clean out the heo filter all you got to do is you just turn this do here you're going to turn this into the unlock position and now this whole end cap here is going to easily lift and this here is our HEPA filter there is a tab here all you got to do is press on down and then this just comes out you can run this over some cold water and what is clean and air dried all you got to do is just snap it back into position and you're good to go and again you're just going to grab this cap cover that and you just turn this dial into the lock position like so and in order to get into the prefilter which is inside of the vacuum all you got to do is you are going to open the bin first and again there is a button up here and then there are these two latches here on the sides all you got to do is you're just going to squeeze and then pull forward and now we have your secondary filter here and you can just go ahead and run this over some cold water as well you can always uh run this over cold water as well and get this nice and cleaned out and once this has now been air dried all you got to do is you just grab this here slide it in make sure it snaps and then close this back up and you are good to go again and this here is our motorized head now this motorized head is going to be useful for both hardwood floors and for carpets just right here we have very soft bristles and we also have uh these stiffer secondary bristles and we also have these rubber bristles here and these are the ones that are going to help you get deeper into any carpet that you might have and in order to clean this head here there is a button here on the side and again you're just going to push down and this is just going to slide out and this again you can run over some cold water and once it has been air dried you can just go ahead slide this back in and you are good to go once again now just keep in mind that there are some sensors built into to this corpor cleaner head here specifically there is a sensor here and there is another sensor here on the side so you just want to make sure that you keep those areas nice and clean so that this motorized head can do its job okay and finally we're just going to go ahead and talk about the non-motorized attachments that come included with the dtech pro now first off there is this crevice tool which it just snaps right in directly into the vacuum itself and as the name implies this crevice tool is going to be good for you to get into the harder to reach areas the only thing that I do want to point out about this crevice tool here is that it is not as thin as some other crevice tools out there so maybe the crevices they can get into with this tool can be a little limited but then there also is a duster that comes included with this vacuum as well and this duster does have some bristles up top and this is the attachment that you might want to use if you want to clean any upholstery any furniture or like let's say your keyboard This is the attachment that you might want to go ahead and use so with all that being said that was a quick rundown of the shark detect Pro now the shark detect Pro is a very versatile vacuum now personally I really do like the indicator light up top which tell you if there's any dirt that the vacuum is currently working on on picking up because it's going to help you make sure that before you leave an area it is clean I also enjoy the rather small form factor of this vacuum but the really cool thing about the detect Pro is the auto docking station which every time that you attach this vacuum onto the dock it is going to automatically empty itself out and all of that dirt it gets stored inside the bin now even though the dock itself is storing a lot of dirt and dust thanks to the odor neutralizer even if your dirt and dust stays in the bin for a very long time it's not going to start stinking up the place because of the auto neutralizer and then there's also the fact that since the dock also also serves as a charging base for the vacuum that means that every single time that you reach for this vacuum it is going to be fully charged and it is going to be fully emptied out

Manscaped Beard hedger vs Manscaped lawn mower 5.0 Ultra

Manscaped Beard hedger vs Manscaped lawn mower 5.0 Ultra

hey Amazon so this is the manscape beard hedger and this is the new manscape lawnmower 5.0 Ultra and today we're actually going to do a quick comparison between these two trimmers now first off I do want to point out that both of these trimmers come included with carrying cases which is very nice however these cases are very different with the lawnmower 5.0 you have room for your different Combs and your different trimmer head which we will talk about in a minute and you also have pockets for your charging accessories

Shark Vertex Pro Review And How To Use

Buy Shark Vertex Pro Here: https://amzn.to/4aWMyWk

so this is the shark vertex Pro handheld vacuum and today I'm going to give you a rundown of these specs and how to actually use this vacuum now first off this is a cordless vacuum as in it has a built-in battery now in order to remove this battery all you got to do is you just press on this button here and then this just slides right out now one very important thing about the battery of this vacuum is that it has an advertised battery life of 60 minutes however this advertised batter life of 60 Minutes is with this vacuum running without an attachment attached and that is with the vacuum hold on and that is with the vacuum running on and that is with the vacuum running on eco and with the uh hardwood floor setting running and I'm going to explain to you what the hardwood floor setting is in a second now if you were to use this vacuum while in eco mode like we have right now and while it is set to its hardwood floor mode like we have right now then this vacuum is going to be good for up to 46 minutes or if you were to use this vacuum while in carpet mode which you activate by pressing this button here so this here is carpet mode then you're going to have a battery life of up to 30 minutes and if you were to use this vacuum with the vacuum by itself without the carpet cleaner head attach attachment attached because it is a motorized head and if you were to use this vacuum while in its boost mode then this vacuum is going to be good for up to 10 minutes and basically what boost mode is is that you're going to get the most performance out of this vacuum is going to be good for when you have a very big mess to clean however if you were to use boost mode on this vacuum that is going to take a very big toll on the battery life however I'm just going to show you a quick demonstration of boost mode so I'm going to turn the vacuum back on so this right here is at its medium setting and if you were to move it over to boost this is now boost mode then this vacuum is only going to be good for up to 10 minutes and that is without the motorized head attachment and from my experience if you were to use this vacuum while in its boost mode with its motorized head attached then it's going to be good for about 6 or 8 minutes of battery life so boost mode on this vacuum that is definitely something that you only want to use when you absolutely have to if you want to get the best battery life out of this vacuum you want to use it while in eco mode but for a balanced performance experience you want to use this vacuum while it's set to its normal medium mode now with this vacuum when it's turned on both of these heads are going to spin and this fluffy head here is going to be the head that's going to do the better job of cleaning your hardwood floors and this other head here is going to do a better job of cleaning your carpets however if you have this vacuum set to your carpet cleaner mode then the carpet cleaner head here is going to spin up and I'm just going to go ahead and demonstrate that for you right now all right so right now the vacuum is set to medium and it's set to its hardwood floor mode and as you can see both of these heads are spinning however if we were to set this vacuum over to carpet mode then you're going to notice that this secondary head is going to spin up faster however just keep in mind that if you do use this vacuum while it is set to its carpet mode then that is going to take an additional toll on the battery life because you are spending more battery to power the secondary head okay so like you have just seen when this carpet is running both of these heads are going to spin however if you were to set this vacuum over to its carpet mode then the secondary head here is going to spin faster however that is going to take an additional toll on the battery life now in general this Carper cleaner head does a decent job of staying clean all of the time time however I am going to demonstrate to you how to actually clean these two heads now with the Fluffy tool up here all you got to do is you just push on this latch up and then it just pops right out and with this you can go ahead and actually run this over some cold water and then you can let it air dry and it'll be clean and it'll be good to go once again and in order to install it all you got to do you just this and snaps right in very easily however if you do have a blockage in here here then getting into this one is going to be a little more tricky now you do have these three locks here and all you got to do is you just twist twist twist now I used a screwdriver but you can use a coin but this pops right out and this is going to give you better access in case you have any blockages to clean or if you need to clean this um this uh secondary uh head here and in order to install the this back in it's relatively easy the only thing is is that you want to make sure that these notches go in here first and then this just snaps in and again one two three and that's how you can go ahead and clean this CER cleaner head here now another thing about this CER cleaner head is that it does have some built-in LEDs so it does help you find any dust that you might uh miss when you're trying to vacuum the floor okay but now we're actually going to go ahead and give you a demonstration here we do have some dirt on our simulated hardwood floor as you can see the both heads are now spinning and we're just going to go

ahead and it picks that up rather easily now like I mentioned earlier this carpet cleaner head it does have built-in LEDs which are supposed to help you find any dirt or dust that you might have missed it does help however the uh White light on this corpor cleaner head isn't as uh helpful as let's say the green light that you would find on let's say on Dyson's vacuums but again for demonstration we're just going to set this over to uh carpet mode and again what carpet mode does is that it speeds up the secondary head and that's going to get you a deeper clean in your carpets but now we're just going to go ahead and do the same demonstration but this time on carpet and we're going to use the vacuum while it's set to boost mode so first we're going to switch this vacuum over to carpet mode so again the secondary fins are spinning up here and now we're going to set it into boost mode and here we

go so like me have to seeing even though the vertex Pro only comes included with one main uh cleaning head this cleaning head is able to deal with both carpets and hardwood floors just keep in mind that if you are going to use this uh vacuum to clean your carpets you do have to set it over to carpet mode and then the secondary fins are going to spin up faster but also just keep in mind that that is going to take an additional toll on the battery life this vacuum has an advertised battery life of 60 Minutes however that's with the vacuum by itself and without the carpet cleaner head attached if you were to use this vacuum with the carpet cleaner head attached while in eco mode then it's going to be good for up to 46 minutes and if you were to use this vacuum with the carpet cleaner head attached and while it's set to its carpet mode then it's going to be good for up to 30 30 minutes while in eco mode as well now truth be total battery life on this vacuum isn't super impressive so if you are going to be cleaning anything with this vacuum you do want to do so quickly however one of the cool things about the Shark vacuum here is that you can actually uh Bend its neck so what we're going to do here is we're just going to press on this button back here and that's going to release this latch here and we're just going to go ahead turn it on all right so there you go so this is going to be a great option to get under let's say your furniture however due to the carpet cleaner head's thickness it's not going to be able ble to get under appliances very easily however this is a great option if you're looking for something to clean under the bed with relatively easy and when you're done it just all snaps right back together and also thanks to the bendable neck when this vacuum is set to its storage mode it's actually fairly compact also another thing that is beneficial about this bending neck here is that there is a way for you to get into the middle of the neck here just in case you have any blockages you can actually go ahead clean that out and then once that is cleaned out and you can just go ahead and attach this back in and you're good to go good as new so overall the Shark verx Pro is a very versatile uh vacuum and in order to charge this vacuum you do get a charging cable included in the box now this charging cable here it is a little large so you're definitely going to want to be mindful of where you plug this guy in but in order to charge the vacuum there is a port back here in the battery which again is removable so if you want to get a secondary battery you can do that or if you want to replace your battery maybe because the performance of it is down you can always do that as well and you do get these indicator lights here on the side the only thing is that these indicator lights they aren't super bright so you might have have to cover them a little so that you can actually see them now in order to change the bin on this vacuum all you got to do is you're just going to press on this button here and that is going to snap open so this way you can just go ahead and clean out all of the dirt or dust that you might have collected now in order to change the filters on this vacuum there are actually two filters there's a pref filter and a post filter now in order to get to those filters first off what you're going to do is you're going to press on this button here and this is just going to snap out and now this here is our pre-filter so once this is dirty you can go ahead and get a new one and both of these they come out as you can see we do have some dirt um collected on this filter here you can also run this bin underwater and wash it down if you want and in order to get to the secondary filter it's actually located here and this just pulls out and this you can run under some water and get that cleaned and once everything's good to go or you got to do is you just insert this here these filters they go on here one and two and in order to put all of this back together what I found Works easiest is that you want to line up these bottom pin pins down here and then that just snaps into position there again but finally I do want to give you a better look of the display on this vacuum now this display here tells you the current battery life that you have left and this here is your mode button right now this is set to our hardwood floor mode but if we were to press it once it is going to switch over to corpet mode and what corpet mode does is that it does spin up that secondary head a lot faster and this here this fan is going to be the speed right now this vacuum is running on eco and this here if you press it once and you have two lights here then that is going to be your normal mode and if you want your boost mode you press it again and basically you're going to see these three buttons light up this is your boost mode so this is going to be the mode that you want to use if you have a bigger mess to fix however just keep in mind that if you do use boost mode on this vacuum that is going to take a very big toll on the battery life and also continuous use of the boost mode on this vacuum that is going to drain the overall health of your battery but finally I do want to talk about the included accessory that you get with this vacuum system and that is this non-motorized crevice tool and this crevice tool goes directly into the vacuum itself and this is going to be good if you want some things so that you can get into those harder to reach areas but also you can attach this crevice tool and if you want you can attach it onto the neck attachment as well and also for those that might be curious you can also use this vacuum directly with the carpet cleaner head without needing the neck attachment attached so this is actually a weird setup but it could be useful for like let's say cleaning your stairs or perhaps even cleaning a table like I have here so with all that being said the shark vertex Pro dual clean is a very versatile system that is going to work well on both carpet and hardwood floors because the carpet cleaner head attachment can handle both carpet and hardwood floors and one of the things that I really like about this vacuum is the bendable neck because this bendable neck makes it a lot easier for you to get under couches mattresses and any other furniture that you might have and I also like the bendable neck and I also like the bendable neck because the bendable neck makes it easier for you to store this vacuum because it does give it a smaller footprint but the main critiques that I do have have about this vacuum system is going to be the battery life yes this vacuum does have an advertised battery life of 60 minutes but that's why this vacuum is running without the V carp cleaner head and while it is set to eco mode and eco mode might not have enough suction especially if you plan on cleaning a lot of carpet with this vacuum and also I noticed that due to the design of this vacuum since a lot of the weight is here on the bottom and forward I have noticed that after let's say 20 or 30 minutes of use having to hold this vacuum does cause some wrist pain however one of the things that I do like about this vacuum is that it does have a power on button and once and once it's on it stays on you don't have to constantly keep the trigger held down like you do with some of Dyson's vacuums

Shark Detect Pro Vs Shark Vertex Pro - Which Is Right For You?

hey Amazon so this is the shark vertex Pro and this is the shark detect Pro and today we are going to go ahead and give you a comparison of these two vacuums and we're going to tell you which one is the better vacuum for you now first off the first thing that we do have to talk about here is going to be the size of these vacuums now the detect Pro is a lot smaller than the vertex Pro the detect Pro weighs in at24 Oz and here we are just going to round up whereas the vertex Pro weighs in at 3 lb and 13 Oz again we are rounding up here now one of the things that I do have to point out about the vertex Pro is that since the vertex Pro is noticeably larger it does have a larger bin in it so when you're out collecting you know your dirt or your dust with the vertex Pro the bin is going to be able to hold more dirt than the detect Pro because with the detect Pro this bin pin is significantly smaller than the vertex Pro however with the detect Pro you can always get the optional uh automatic Dock and whenever you insert the vacuum into the dock the will automatically clean out the detect Pro and all of that dirt will be stored here inside of this larger bin which you can then just take over to the garbage and and uh throw everything out now one of the things about this bin is that even though you can let your dirt and your dust collect inside of this bin the good thing about this bin is that there is an odor neutralizer so even if you have your dirt in here for a few days it's not going to stank up your apartment because you do have this odor neutralizer just keep in mind that the odor neutralizer you do have to replace it from time to time but again once the uh Bin itself has been cleaned out you can just attach it back onto the dock and you're good to go whereas with the vertex Pro you are going to have to manually clean out this bin every single time but also with the detu pro if you have the automatic dock the dock not only cleans out your bin it also keeps your vacuum fully charged so every time that you reach for this vacuum it's going to be fully charged and it's going to be emptied out whereas with the vertex Pro whenever you're going to charge this vacuum up you do have to manually plug it in now when it comes to the battery life of these vacuums both of these vacuums have an advertised batter life of 60 Minutes however that advertised batter life of 60 Minutes is with both of these vacuums running while they're in their eco mode and that's also while these vacuums are in their handheld mode however if you were to use these vacuums with their motorized heads as in how you would actually use these vacuums let's say 95% of the time with the vtex Pro this vacuum has an advertised battery life of 46 minutes while in eco mode while in floor mode or if you were to use this vacuum while in carpet mode while in eco mode this vacuum is only going to last you for 30 minutes whereas with the detect Pro if you were to use this vacuum with its motorized head ATT test and while it's in its automatic mode it's going to be good for around 40 minutes so plainly said yes the detect Pro does have significantly better battery life than the vertex Pro but also one of the very important things that I do have to point out about the form factors of these vacuums is that yes the vertex Pro is larger and it is heavier than the detect Pro but also something that I've noticed about this vacuum is that due to the center of gravity being very forward and out I've noticed that after a while when you're trying to vacuum with the vertex Pro it does cause some risk discomfort because again that center of gravity is almost out here whereas with the smaller detect Pro yes the detect Pro is smaller and it is lighter but more importantly the center of gravity of this vacuum is more back here so when you are vacuuming with the T Pro I've noticed that it doesn't cost as much wrist pain because of the location of the the sensor of gravity being more back here instead of being all the way out here like with the vertex Pro but now we're also going to talk about the overall volume of these two vacuums now the detect Pro does have better suction than the vert X pro and surprisingly it is a little quieter as well however both of these vacuums are a little on the louder side especially if you were to compare them with other vacuums out there like with let's say Dyson's vacuums however right now we're just going to go ahead and do a quick test of the volume of these two vacuums so here comes the vortex Pro I'm going to power it on now this is Eco Mode on the vertex pro now this is Eco Mode on the detect Pro so like we have just heard the detect Pro is notably quieter than the vertex Pro while in eco mode now we're going to switch them over to their automatic modes so here comes the vertex Pro so that was the automatic or medium mode on the vertex Pro here comes the detect Pro so that was the detect mode while in its automatic or medium mode and now we're going to go into the boost mode on both of these vacuums so that was boost mode on the vertex Pro Here Comes boost mode on the detect Pro and that was boost mode on the detect Pro now like you have just heard the detect Pro is overall a little quieter than the vertex Pro especially when it comes to their boost modes and the detect Pro does have more suction than the vertex Pro however just keep in mind that with both of these vacuums they are alliteral on the louder side if you you were to compare them to the competition however one of the things that I do like about both of these vacuums is that with both of these vacuums once you power them on they stay on now this right now again this is the boost mode we're just going to switch it over back to Eco on the detect Pro just so that you can hear me but as you can see once this vacuum is turned on it stays on you don't have to constantly keep a trigger held down which personally for me I do a few is a big deal because with other cordless vacuums out there if you have to constantly hold the trigger down that can get a little uncomfortable but thankfully but thankfully with both of shark's vacuums once they're on they're turned on but also I do want to give you a better look of the screens on these two vacuums now with the detect Pro you have these four LED lights up here that tell you the status of your battery life whereas with the vertex Pro you have a much larger screen up top that gives gives you actual numbers now this number here is only going to tell you 60 70 80 or 90% it doesn't get all super granular like 65% or 63% or 58% none of that but now we're going to talk about the motorized heads that come included with both of these vacums now both of these motorized heads have the same width to them however the motorized head that comes included with the detect BR it is smaller and it is lighter and it also has buil-in sensors that works with the vacuum itself to help adjust itself depending on what needs to be cleaned now this motorized head is good for both hardwood floors and for carpets now this carpet head only has one roller in it but we do have very soft bristles here we do have stiffer bristles here and then we have these rubber fins here which are the ones that are going to help get really deep into those carpets whereas with the vertex Pro this carpet cleaner head here is a lot larger it is noticeably heavier however this cic cleaner head actually has two rollers in it now we do have our front one here and this one here has our much softer bristles whereas the secondary roller here has our stiffer bristles like these here but we also have these rubber fins here now when you are using the vertex Pro and if you have it set to its hardwood floor mode then both of these heads are going to spin equally as fast however if you were to have this vacuum set to carpet mode then this secondary head here is going to start spinning a lot faster so that it can get deeper into those carpets just keep in mind that if you do use this vacuum while in carpet mode then that is going to drain the battery life faster because you are sacrificing some of your battery life to spin this Mo this uh roller here but one of the things that I do like about this larger carpet cleaner head here is that we do have this rubber bumper on the front which personally I do like because it does help protect your furniture when you're vacuum ing whereas with the detect Pro unfortunately there is no rubber stopper on the front so if you are going to be vacuuming with this carpet cleaner head here you do want to make sure that you don't bang it into your furniture personally I just wish that there was like a strip of rubber here on the front but unfortunately it's not there but also another thing that I like about the vertex Pro that isn't found on the detect Pro is that the vertex Pro does come included with a bendable neck so this bendable neck is going to make it easier for you to get under your stuff like let's say uh your sofa or like let's say your bed however due to the carpet cleaner heads thickness you are going to have a harder time getting under uh lower appliances but also another thing with this collapsible neck is that you can actually bend it and this is your storage position whereas with the detect Pro this vacuum does not come included with a bendable neck however this vacuum is is overall lighter and just smaller than the vertex Pro and if you absolutely want to you can always get a bendable neck as a separate accessory however if you want to you can always store your vacuum like so because that is what this little Hook is for but finally we want to talk about the included non-motorized accessories that come included with both of these vacuums now with the vertex Pro you only get this crevice tool here and you can either attach it directly into the vacuum itself or you can always attach this crevice tool into the neck attachment whereas with the detect Pro you actually get two non-motorized attachments included with the detect Pro you also get your curse tool which again you can attach directly into the vacuum itself or you can attach it onto its long neck attachment and you also get this secondary non-motorized head here which does have bristles on the front and this is the one that you might want to use if you want to do any vacuuming like on let's say the stairs or inside of your car or if you have any um furniture or upholstery all right but with all that being said both the shark vertex Pro and the shark detect Pro are very versatile vacuums however with the detect Pro this vacuum is going to give you an overall better experience for multiple reasons now first off the Pro is noticeably smaller and lighter than the vertex Pro and it also has better section than the vertex Pro and it's also a little quieter than the vertex Pro as well and also if you were to get the automatic dock with the detect Pro then the automatic dock on this vacuum is going to number one keep your bin empty at all times and it's also going to keep this vacuum charged and ready for you so with the detect Pro anytime that you need your vacuum is going to be ready to go at any time and also with the detect Pro like I mentioned earlier since this vacuum it is smaller and it is lighter but also thanks to the overall design of this vacuum since it center of gravity is more back up back here then you aren going to get any wrist pain after you use this vacuum for a while and then there's also the overall batter life of this vacuum if you were to use this vacuum while in automatic mode then the battery life of this vacuum is going to good for around 40 minutes so overall you are going to get a better experience with the detect Pro than you would with the vertex Pro now the vertex Pro is also a very versatile vacuum and personally the thing that I really like about the vertex Pro is going to be the collapsible neck that comes included with it because it is going to make it easier for you to get under things like let's say your sofa or your mattress the only thing that you want to look out with the vertex Pro is that this vacuum is heavier also this vacuum is louder and the battery life of this vacuum isn't as good as with the battery life on the detect Pro but the really important thing that a lot of people will probably miss with the vertex Pro is that since due to the center of gravity of this vacuum being down here and forward I have noticed that after like let's say 15 or 20 minutes of vacuuming the center of gravity of this vacuum can lead to some wrist pain

Dyson Gen5 Vs Shark Vertex Pro - Is The Dyson Worth The Upgrade?

so this is the shark vertex Pro and this is the Dyson Gen 5 and today we're going to compare these two vacuums and we're going to see if it's worth it to you to upgrade to the Dyson Gen 5 now first off we're going to have to talk about the design of these two vacuums now both of these vacuums are relatively large however when it comes to weight the Gen 5 weighs in at5 and 1 oz and yes we are rounding up here whereas the vertex Pro weighs a at 3 lb 13 Oz however when fully built out the vertex Pro weighs in at a little over 9 lb whereas the Gen 5 weighs in at a little under 8 lb so overall even though the vacuum itself weighs more than the vertex Pro when fully assembled the Gen 5 is a little lighter than the vertex Pro but more importantly due to the design of the Gen 5 the center of gravity of this vacuum is located here right above your wrist so you aren't going to to get any risk discomfort whereas with the vertex Pro the center of gravity of this vacuum is located down and out and I have notice that after 10 minutes or so this vacuum does cause some risk discomfort due to the location of center of gravity so overall the Gen 5 is noticeably more comfortable to use than the vertex Pro when these vacuums are fully built out but more importantly with the Gen 5 you are going to get better overall performance than the vertex Pro with the 5 you are going to get significantly more suction and this vacuum is also significantly quieter than the vertex Pro which your family members are definitely going to appreciate but so that you can hear for yourself we're going to jump into a sound test now here comes the Eco Mode on both of these vacuums so this is Ecco mode on the vtex [Applause] pro Here Comes Ecco mode on the Gen 5 much quieter it's not even close and this vacuum has more suction than the vertex Pro now here comes the medium mode on both of these vacuums so that was medium on the vortex Pro Here Comes medium on V gen five again A lot quieter with more suction and finally here comes the boost mode on both of these vacuums and here comes boost on the Gen 5 again it's not even closed the Gen 5 is a lot quieter than the vertex Pro and the Gen 5 has a lot more suction than the vertex Pro as well but also with the Gen 5 you are going to get a lot better battery life out of this vacuum than you would with the vertex Pro now the Gen 5 has an advertised bar life of 70 minutes but that's with this vacuum running while in eco mode however if you were to use this vacuum while it set to its automatic mode then this vacuum is going to be good for around 50 minutes whereas with the vertex Pro this vacuum has an advertised battery life of 60 minutes but that's when this vacuum is set to its eco mode but real roll use with this vacuum set to carpet and with it set to medium this vacuum is going to be good for around 20 minutes but more importantly with the vertex Pro this vacuum does not have an automatic mode so you are going to have to manually switch this vacuum from medium or switch it over to boost or switch it back over to medium and if you want to save on your battery life you're going to have to manually switch it back over to Eco whereas with the Dyson this vacuum has an automatic mode and it will automatically adjust the speed depending on what you're cleaning but more importantly with the Dyson you do have an LCD screen here on the back which tells you exactly what it's cleaning up but more importantly this LCD screen gives you a much better readout of how much time you have left on your battery but then there are the included attachments that come with these vacuums and obviously the Dyson comes included with a lot more attachments than the vertex Pro now with the vertex Pro you get this single motorized carpet cleaner head now the width of this carpet cleaner head is the same as the carpet cleaner heads that come with the Dyson how however with the vertex Pro this cor cleaner head has two built-in rollers we have this roller here with very soft bristles and this is the roller that's going to clean your hardwood floors and we do have this secondary roller here that has your stiffer bristles and it also has these rubber fins and these are the bristles that are going to help get deeper into your carpets now when you are using this vacuum both of these heads will spin however if you were to set the vertex Pro over to its corporate mode it is going to spin up the secondary roller so that you can get a deeper clean in your carpets whereas with the Dyson you get this carpet cleaner head and this carpet cleaner head has a single roller and this roller has your stier bristles here which is going to help get into the carpet but you also have these softer bristles here so with this roller you can use it on both carpets and you can use it on hardwood floors but what's unique here is that with this carpet cleaner head you can actually adjust its suction so if you have to get a bigger mess or if you're cleaning on a thicker carpet then you might want to amplify the suction of this head but also the Dyson comes included with the Fluffy optic tool and this fluffy optic tool has a single roller in it with very soft bristles and this is the roller that you want to use for your hardwood floors but more importantly this roller also has a built-in green LED and this built-in LED makes it very easy for you to find any dirt or dust when you're cleaning your hardwood floors so with this tool it's a lot easier for you to know if you're actually cleaning your hardwood floors because that green light does a much better job of pointing out the dirt whereas yes the vortex Pro also has built-in LEDs but these LEDs are not as bright and these LEDs are white which just doesn't do as good of a job pointing out the dirt as the green LED found on the Dyson but also the Dyson does come included with the smaller motorized head and this is the head that you might want to use if you want to do any detail work in your core if you want to vacuum a carpeted staircase or if you have a Pet's bed or if you have any upholstery but also the Dyson does come included with this dusting tool and if you want you can have the bristles extended or you can always retract the bristles whereas the vertex Pro comes included with this crevice tool here now the Dyson also has a built-in crevice tool but this crevice tool is built into the neck of the vacuum and again this crevice tool does have some bristles or if you want you can always retract back to bristles and when you're done using your crass tool you can always just attach the neck back onto the vacuum but something the vertex Pro does have over the Dyson is that the vertex Pro comes included with a collapsible neck and this neck makes it a lot easier for you to get under your furniture like sofa or mattress and then when you're done you can just snap everything back together so with all that being said if you're trying to choose between the shark vertex Pro or trying to decide if it's worth upgrading to the Dyson Gen 5 with the vertex Pro this is a capable vacuum that is going to work well on both carpets and hardwood floors and personally I do like the bendable neck that comes included with this vacuum because it makes it easier for you to get under your furniture however you do have to be wary that with the vertex Pro this vacuum is loud and the battery life of this vacuum isn't the greatest specifically if you're trying to clean carpet with it however I do I want you to keep in mind that due to the design of the vertex Pro since the location of gravity of this vacuum is down and out I have found that after 10 minutes of use this vacuum does cause you some discomfort in your wrist whereas with the Gen 5 since the center of gravity of this vacuum is right above your wrist this vacuum doesn't give you as much a wrist pain as the vertex Pro but also the Gen 5 is a little lighter than the vertex Pro but more importantly with the Gen 5 you are going to to get a lot better performance you're going to get a lot more suction and it's going to be a lot quieter so your family is definitely going to appreciate that and with the Gen 5 you're also going to get much better batter life performance and with the Gen 5 you get a lot more attachments you get a dedicated attachment for your carpets you get a dedicated attachment for your hardwood floors that has that built-in LED which makes it a lot easier for you to find any dirt or dust when you're cleaning your hardwood floors

Dyson Gen 5 Vs Shark Detect Pro - Is Dyson Worth The Upgrade?

so this is the shark detect Pro and this is the Dyson Gen 5 and today we are going to compare these two vacuums and we're going to tell you the difference between these two vacuums because these two systems are very different from one another now first off the most obvious difference between these two vacuums is going to be their size now the detect Pro is a lot smaller than the Gen 5 and it weighs in at 2 lb4 oz and yes we are rounding up here whereas the Gen 5 weighs in at 5 lb now here we're not rounding up because there is a little bit of dirt here in the bin but when fully built out the Gen 5 weighs in at 7.7 lb whereas the detect Pro weighs in at a little over 6 lb so the detect Pro is a little lighter than the Gen 5 but more importantly since the detu pro is just smaller than the Gen 5 it is a little bit more comfortable using this vacuum than the Gen 5 however one of the trade-offs with the detect Pro is that the collection bin is significantly smaller however if you were to get the automatic dock with the detect Pro then this automatic dock is going to automatically clean out your bin and this automatic dock is also going to charge your vacuum up so every single time that you reach for your vacuum your vacuum is going to be completely cleaned out and the battery is going to be completely full whereas with the Gen 5 unfortunately we just don't have this option with the Gen 5 you are going to have to manually clean out your bin every single time and you're also going to have to manually plug this vacuum into charge however where the Gen 5 really overtakes the detect Pro is going to be in overall performance the Gen 5 has significantly more suction power than the detect Pro while being a little quieter but so that you can hear for yourself we're going to jump into a sound test now here comes the detect Pro while it is set to its eco mode so this is Eco Mode on the detect Pro Here Comes eco mode on the Gen 5 so as you can hear while the Gen 5 is in eco mode it is significantly quieter than the detect Pro and it has significantly more suction power than the detect Pro now here come the medium modes on both of these vacuums so that was medium mode on the detect Pro now we're going to go over to medium mode on the Gen 5 so again the Gen 5 is significantly quieter than the detect Pro and it has a significantly more suction than the detect Pro while in medium mode but here come the Boost modes on these two vacuums so that's boost on a v detect Pro Here Comes boost on a v Gen 5 now here when it comes to the volume of these two vacuums while in boost mode I do feel that it's a little close but I still think the gen5 is a little quieter than the detect Pro specifically because the hum isn't as high pitched but more importantly the Gen 5 again has a lot more suction than the theack pro but then there's the battery life on both of these vacuums now the Gen 5 has an advertised bar life of 70 minutes and the detect pro has an advertised bar life of 60 Minutes however these advertised batter life of 70 minutes and 60 Minutes is with both of these vacuums running while they're in their eco mode however if you were to use these two vacuums while they're in their auto mode then the Gen 5 on average is going to be good for about 50 minutes whereas the detect Pro is going to be good for about 40 minutes now both of these vacuums have an automatic mode and what automatic mode does on these vacuums is that these vacuums will automatically adjust their section depending on what they're cleaning however I do prefer the automatic mode on the detect Pro over the Gen 5 because the automatic mode on the detect Pro does a better job of communicating to you exactly what's happening with the detect Pro there are indicator lights on both the vacuum itself and on the carpet cleaner head and basically when this indicator light turns red is telling us that the vacuum has detected some dirt or dust so it's going to spin up its speed when the indicator light turns to Yellow is basically telling you hey we're currently cleaning this area please keep the carpet cleaner on this area while we clean this area up and then when the indicator light on this vacuum turns blue is basically telling you hey this area is now cleaned and the vacuum will automatically lower the speed of its suction so personally I do prefer the indicator light on the detect Pro over the Gen 5 however the Gen 5 does have some graphs on the back telling you exactly what's happening as well but I don't think these graphs are as easy to read as the indicator lights found on the detect Pro but something that I do like about the LCD screen on this vacuum is that it does a much better job of telling you exactly how much battery life you have left but now we have to talk about the included accessories that come with these two vacuums and plainly said the Dyson comes included with a lot more accessories than the detect Pro now both of these vacuums have your motorized carpet cleaner head and both of these carpet cleaner heads have the same width to them however the caror cleaner head that comes with the detect Pro is a lot different than the carp cleaner heads that come with the Dyson now there are a lot of sensors in this corpet cleaner head and this is what helps the vacuum detect what it's cleaning up and it also helps the uh the vacuum decide what speed it should be sucking at now if this cleaner has a single roller and this roller here has a lot of soft bristles and these are the bristles that are going to do the better job here of cleaning your hardwood floors this roller also has stiffer bristles here and these are the bristles that are going to help you get deeper into your carpet but there are also these rubber fins here and these rubber fins are going to help you get even deeper into your carpet as well but this here is the carpet cleaner head that comes with the Dyson now this carpet cleaner head is a little different from the carpet cleaner heads that come in included with either the Dyson v11 or the V12 now this corper cleaner head is also motorized and there is a single roller and we do have our stiffer bristles here and these are the bristles that are going to help you get into your carpet and these are the softer bristles here and these bristles are going to be for your hardwood floors so this carpet cleaner head is actually going to work well on both carpet and on hardwood floors but something that is unique to this Corp cleaner head here is that you can actually adjust the suction of this carpet cleaner head here so that is going to help you get a better clean whether you're on a hardwood floor or on carpets but also the Gen 5 comes included with this fluffy optic tool and this is the one that you want to use if you're going to be cleaning a lot of hardwood floors but what's really unique about the fluffy optic tool is that it has a buil-in green LED and this built-in green LED really helps you find any dirt or dust when you're cleaning up your hardwood floors so whenever you're vacuuming your hardwood floors you'll be able to to know if it's actually clean or not so even though this led is a very simple tool it is a very useful tool but also the Gen 5 does come included with this smaller motorized corpet cleaner head and this is the head that you'll want to use either on your carpeted staircase or if you want to clean up in your car or if you have a pet bed or if you have any other upholstery now both of these vacuums come included with dusters now with the detect Pro this duster here you can either have the bristles on or you can actually take these bristles off and use this tool like so whereas with the Dyson this combination tool is a lot easier to use you can either use it without the bristles or if you want you can extend the bristles out but also both of these vacuums come included with a crevice tool now this is the crevice tool that comes included with the detect Pro whereas with the Gen 5 its crevice tool is built into the neck attachment here so whenever you're going to use the crevice tool you can just remove the neck and if you want the bristles you can leave the bristles exposed or you can always bring the bristles in and then you can use your cice tool like so and when you're done using the C tool you can just go ahead and attach the long neck attachment again so with all that being said if you're trying to choose between the shark detect Pro and the Dyson Gen 5 with the shark detect Pro this is a very capable vacuum and personally I really like the detect Pro especially if you get the automatic docking tool because with the automatic docking tool your vacuum is going to be automatically cleaned out and it's going to be automatically charged up so every single time that you reach for your vacuum it's going to be ready to go however with the Gen 5 you are going to get some significant performance improvements first off with the Gen 5 you are going to get a longer lasting battery life with the Gen 5 you're also going to get significantly more suction and is also going to be a lot quieter which is a very big luxury especially when using this vacuum at home and with the Gen 5 you are going to get significantly more attachments than you do with the detect Pro

Dyson V11 Vs Shark Detect Pro - Is Dyson Worth It?

so this is the shark detect Pro and this is the Dyson v11 and today we're going to compare these two vacuums and we're going to tell you exactly what the difference between these two vacuums are and hopefully we can find the right one for you now obviously the first major difference between these two vacuums is that the Dyson V1 is noticeably larger than the detect Pro now the Dyson v11 itself weighs in at 4B and 9 oz and yes we are rounding up here whereas the detect Pro weighs in at24 Oz but when fully assembled the Dyson v11 weighs in at 6 and a half whereas the detect Pro weighs in at just a little over 6 lb and that is because the smart carpet cleaner head on this vacuum does weigh quite a bit so overall yes when fully assembled the detect Pro is notably more comfortable than the Dyson v11 because it is a little lighter but more importantly with the detect Pro when you turn this vacuum on it stays on you don't have to constantly keep a trigger held down whereas with the Dyson v11 since this vacuum does have a trigger that you have to constantly keep held down having to hold down this trigger can get a little tiring especially in the forearm after like let's say 20 minutes so overall the detect Pro is noticeably more comfortable than the v11 because the detect Pro is noticeably lighter but also the detect Pro does not have that trigger that you have to constantly keep held down however with the detect Pro there are some sacrifices that you have to make due to this vacuum's smaller size now first off there is the bin on this vacuum it is a little smaller than the bin found on vv11 however if you were to get the optional automatic automatic docking tool with the detect Pro then every single time that you attach the detect Pro to the automatic dock it is going to automatically empty itself and the the automatic dock also keeps your vacuum fully charged so anytime that you reach for this vacuum it is going to be ready to go because the bin is going to be empty and the battery is going to be full however from a performance standpoint with the Dyson v11 this vacuum does have more suction than the detect Pro however the Dyson v11 is notably louder than the detect Pro but so that you can hear for yourself we're going to do a quick test so here comes the detect Pro while it's in its eco mode so that is the that is Eco Mode on the detect Pro Here Comes eco mode on the v11 now here I do feel that the v11 is a little quieter than the tect pro and it also has more suction But Here Come the medium mode on both of these vacuums so that's medium mode on V detect Pro Here Comes medium on v11 now here I do feel that the v11 is a little louder than the detect Pro even though the detect does have a higher pitch hump to it and here comes a boost mode on both of these vacuums and here comes boost mode on vv1 here I do feel that the v11 is is notably louder than the detect Pro while in boost mode but again the v11 does have more suction than the detect Pro now when it comes to the battery life on both of these vacuums both of these vacuums have an advertised battery life of 60 Minutes however realistically with both of these vacuums if you use them while they're set to their medium modes or automatic mode on the detect Pro then both of these vacuums are going to be good for around 40 minutes of use just keep in mind that batter life on both of these vacuums are really varies depending on the setting that you have them in and it also varies on what attachments you're using however with the detect Pro the really interesting thing about this vacuum is that this vacuum will automatically adjust itself uh as to what what surfaces you're cleaning so with the detect Pro there are some LED lights on it both on the vacuum itself and on the carpet cleaner head that changed from Red Amber and to green and basically when the red light is on that is when this vacuum has detected dirt so obviously it is going to start sucking a lot more once the light changes to Amber then uh the suction of the vacuum does relax a little bit but it is telling you that hey you should keep the carpet cleaner here because we are currently cleaning this area and once the indicator light on this vacuum switches over to Blue that's basically telling you that this area has now been cleaned and send the vacuum DET tect that it's on an area that's already cleaned it is going to lower its suction so that is how this vacuum is able to optimize its overall battery life whereas with the Dyson v11 this vacuum does not automatically adjust its speed depending on what surface you're cleaning so with the Dyson v11 you are going to have to manually switch this vacuum from eco mode to medium and this is the mode that you're probably going to use most of the time and if you have a bigger mtic cream then you're going to have to manually switch it over to boost and once you're done with Boost you might want to switch it over to medium and if you want to extend your battery life then you want to switch this vacuum over to eco mode but now we have to talk about the included accessories that come included with these two vacuums now both of these vacuums come included with a motorized head and the motorized head on both of these vacuums have the same width to them and they also have the same height to them so both of these motorized heads are going to be able to get under the same furniture and with both of these motorized heads they both have a single roller however these rollers are very different now with the Dyson v11 you have this roller that has your set of soft bristles and these are the bristles that are going to do the better job here of cleaning up your hardwood floors and the Dyson v11 also has the stiffer bristles and these are the bristles that are going to get deeper into your carpet however the roller on the detect Pro is significantly more impressive because with the roller on the detect Pro this roller has a lot more soft bristles here so this is what's going to clean your hardwood floors but also we do have your stiffer bristles here and these are the ones that are going to get into your carpet but what is unique here is that with the detect Pro we also have these rubber fins which again is going to help this carpet cleaner head get deeper into those carpets and this carpet cleaner head is also filled with the sensors that your vacuum uses to decide when it should speed up or when it should speed down so overall I do feel that the carp cleaner head on the detect Pro does give you a deeper clean than the corpor cleaner had found on the Dyson v11 specifically because of those rubber fins which just aren't found on the Dyson v11 however with the Dyson v11 you also get this additional motorized tool here and this is the carpet cleaner head that you might want to use on your stairs your upholstery or if you have a Pet's bed but also both of the these vacuums come included with a Cris tool but the Cris tool that comes included with the Dyson is narrower and longer than the crevice tool that comes included with a d detect Pro so this might be important for you if you plan on doing detail work in your car and both of these vacuums also come included with a dusting tool however with the dusting tool on the v11 you can choose to either have the Brussel exposed or you can choose to put them away so with all that being said if you're trying to choose between the Shar detect Pro and the Dyson v11 both of these vacuums are very capable however the better buy here I do feel is going to be the detect Pro with the detect Pro this vacuum is notably smaller and lighter than the Dyson v11 making it more comfortable to use and also there is no trigger that you have to constantly keep held down but more importantly with the detect Pro you are going to get a deeper clean that you do with the the v11 specifically because it's corpor cleaner head has those built-in rubber fins which is going to help get deeper into your carpets but also the smart carpet cleaner head on the detect Pro is going to help automatically adjust this vacuum's suction speed that's giving you a better clean but more importantly it is going to help extend the battery life of this vacuum and also if you do decide to get the automatic Dock of the detect Pro with this automatic dock it is going to keep your vacuum's bin clean and it is going to keep your vacuum fully charged so your vacuum is always ready to go whenever you need it however with the Dyson v11 you do get an additional motorized tool but also with the v11 you are going to get better suction than you do with the detu pro however with the v11 this vacuum is going to be a little louder than the detect Pro and it is going to be a little heavier and again you do have that trigger that you have to constantly keep held down which can get a little uncomfortable especially in the forarm after like let's say 20 minutes
