So the new Bowers And Wilkins PX7 S2 is mostly a cosmetic upgrade from the PX7’s. The PX7 S2’s look better, they feel better and they fit better too. Now personally, I enjoy the PX7 S2’s and their more premium build quality and elegant design… but they defiantly aren’t perfect and they aren’t for everyone. But today we’re going to compare the PX7 S2’s to both the Bose NC 700 and Bose QC45’s two very comfortable headphones that are very popular for traveling.

So I have always liked the Bowers And Wilkins PX’s and the PX7’s… I really think the PX7’s have very incredible instrument separation and I have always liked their unique design. However, I could never really wear the PX7’s for an extended period of time cause they weren’t big head approved. But now, we have the PX7 S2’s and these things have been completely redesigned. They feel better and they fit better… but they don’t preform any better.
So last year Sony released their XG500 which was their first large portable Bluetooth speaker and response to the JBL Boombox… and they also gave us a sneak peak of their new design language. But now in the summer of 2022, sony has released the rest of their lineup, the XG300, XE300, and XE200. So today, we’re going to break down Sony’s speaker lineup for 2022.
So the JBL Flip 6 is a very impressive small portable Bluetooth speaker. Its packing a woofer, transducer and dual passive radiator set up, which is rare for a speaker like this. Also, it has a customizable EQ and JBL’s Partyboost. Overall you can’t go wrong with the JBL Flip 6 is you’re looking for a small speaker. But then there’s the Sony XE200 which is almost as big as a mid sized speaker. If you’re trying to choose between the JBL Flip 6 and Sony XE200, lets see which one is right for you.
So this is the new Sony XE200… and unfortunately the XE200 has gotten the same treatment as the XE300… overall, I see it as a downgrade from its predecessor, the XB23… and for a small portable bluetooth speaker… the XE200 is pretty big. Nonetheless, if you’re thinking about getting the Sony XE200, lets see what its all about.
